I was born on December 15th 1974 in Tanga, Tanzania, East Africa. My family moved to Canada in 1977 without one penny in their pocket. The Canadian Government helped us a lot. They paid my mom to go to school, they helped us buy our first home and even helped my Dad build his buisness. Our family went from nothing to millions in Canada. At a young age of 18 Reena NeGandhi won a model search in which Stacey McKenzie from Canadas Top Model was also comping in. Reena Was crowned the winner and was taken to New York to build her career in the industry. As Reena came from an INDIAN background her mother did not allow her to model lingerie or Bikinis. When Reena had a top offer from a Lingerie brand she had so say no and because of this the agency closed the doors on her Career. Reena went back to Canada and built her career in Organised retail. Reena worked with a brand called Pegabo which was owned by the Aldo Group. She built herself from a Sales Person all the way to a district manager and was responsible for about 40 stores across Ontario. Her next Role was with Guess Canada where she lead the Marciano division. She became the National Recruiter for Guess and Marciano in which she hired the best people for the brand and also helped in location scouting for new stores for Marciano which was just building in Canada. Reena Had a nickname and was called Retail Reena as she entered organised retail at a young age of 16. In Canada Reena was working from a young age of 10 yrs old. She had a job at McDonalds and was the youngest crew trainer. Following that she worked for a clothing brand called MIA and was the youngest key holder.

Reena went to college at Seneca College in Toronto and studied Retail of Fashion. Canada gave Reena great opportunities. She was raised in Canada and relocated to India in Dec. 2010. She has felt a strong connection with her last name NeGandhi and since I was young said that one day I would do something great for India. If I could do something as powerful as Gandhi but as a woman and for the youth of India this would be a great accomplishment. I live to inspire the world and I have a deep love for India, the place I feel is the land of opportunity.

My Brand is NeGandhi – My Religion is NeGandhi-Ism. NeGandhi-Ism is a movement to remove religion and to consider our selves as one. In our world today religion seems to cause many problems and it divides our nation. Reena believes we are all humans and that religion was only built in the past to create power and groups. Today religion has expanded and believers are that of their own religions and looking down on others. We are all equal we all operate the same way. Also if their was only one religion would god not make everyone the same religion. Reena strongly believes that religion was only man made.  #TogetherWeStand #NeGandhiStyle

I have launched a denim line in 2015 in INDIA which stands for Gender Equality. Reena claims that her jeans are better than top brands that charge 10 times more than her. However she does not use any celebrity endorsement and sells online only. The savings she has in her business is passed on to the clients. When Reena first moved to INDIA she became a consultant for a real estate company called Entertainment World Developers who were building Shopping malls, hotels and residential townships.  Reena was successful in her role of bringing investment from North America.  Sadly the company went through some tough times after Reena left her role and the company is no longer in business.

Reena has a marketing company where her team builds marketing for various businesses.  They build websites, do SEO and social media all of which could help the success of any brand.  Logo design and launching of new businesses is also key for this company.  Our clients are from Canada, USA and London and has recently opened her services to INDIA.  www.NeGandhiMarketing.com

Reena has recently also started a YouTube channel and Website to promote her online show called Narcotics With NeGandhi – Get High off Conversation.  She has recently started this in February of 2020.  She hopes to build this portal by creating more interesting videos for all her followers.  It is just the beginning to something incredible that she will do to make her mark here in this world.
